The second installment in Fight Night Siren’s new boxing series is Boxing’s Best Part 1. This DVD documents the lives of 3 of the biggest names in boxing: Rocky Marciano Jack Dempsey and joe Louis. 

Rocky Marciano is the ONLY undefeated champion in ANY weight class in the history of gloved boxing. Considering how many champions there have been somewhat over 300 that is quite a feat in itself. But he has also brought to boxing the kind of dignity and courage that makes us admire these truly great athletes.

Jack Dempsey son of a poor timber and mining family in Manassa Colorado did little to stray the public opinion of boxing as a brutal sport. After Jack Dempsey began fighting at the age of 17 few opponents could claim they were left standing after a full bout with him. Dempsey is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modern boxing and has gone down in history as one of the toughest men ever to enter the ring.

Joe Louis burst onto the professional boxing scene in 1934 with style and skill such as the boxing world has seldom seen. Known to many as the “Brown Bomber ” Louis emerged victorious from his first 27 fights all but four of which he won by knockout. In the early days of his career he destroyed such great heavyweight fighters as Stanley Poreda Natie Brown and Rosco Toles. It was here that Louis deliveredto the entire world a premonition of the reign of domination that he was to begin.
